SUMMARY:How do you design a clinical study that is registration-ready?
DESCRIPTION:A study that is suitable for publication or guideline development is not automatically suitable for marketing authorisation. Hellen Houlleberghs\, Orfenix’ s clinical director will discuss what changes when the goal is registration of a product instead of just a publication. She will discuss what changes including: study design and endpoints\, study preparation\, CTIS readiness\, GCP\, IMP logistics\, common pitfalls\, timelines\, and post-study obligations. \nParticipants will also receive the “From protocol to registration readiness scan”\, a practical tool to identify potential gaps in their own study. \nVisit the website for more information: https://orfenix.com/webinar-how-do-you-design-a-clinical-study-that-is-registration-ready/ \n Registration link: https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/b00fe972-6382-435a-8b8c-19b6abf772f0@5b8666c1-d3a4-4d81-841c-691b9585ca11

SUMMARY:Orchestrating Socially Responsible Innovation in Pharma
DESCRIPTION:On 5 November 2026\, the Global Pharmaceutical and Society Studies (GPSS) Network will run a closed\, interactive workshop with 50 participants under Chatham House rules at the Humanity Hub\, The Hague\, the Netherlands. \nThis workshop focuses on the role of ecosystem orchestrators in pharmaceutical innovation. These organisations draw people and organisations together\, participate in several socially responsible collaborations\, offer expertise on different parts of the road from bench to bedside\, and so contribute to a sustainable ecosystem of socially responsible innovation. \nThis workshop will facilitate conversation and mutual learning among people involved in socially responsible innovation\, particularly (but not exclusively) ecosystem orchestrators\, and social scientists with expertise in these matters. \nIn the morning\, confirmed speakers include: \n\nMartin de Kort (REMEDi4ALL)\nEls Torreele (Æqua)\nMichelle Childs (Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative)\nSaco de Visser (Centre for Future Affordable Sustainable Therapy Development\, FAST)\nTineke Kleinhout-Vliek (University College Dublin)\n\nThe speakers will discuss how socially responsible innovation operates in pharma\, what role(s) ecosystem orchestrators play\, how the socially responsible mission is retained in day-to-day operations\, and what opportunities they see to increase durability and impact.\n\nIn the afternoon\, the group will tackle the interaction between socially responsible innovations and the pharma ecosystem with discussion questions pertaining to the role of orchestrators.\n\nThe discussions will culminate in a position paper on ecosystem orchestration in pharma that participants will be able to sign in due course.\n\nLearn more and register here.

SUMMARY:Repurposing Bootcamp for Patient Representatives
DESCRIPTION:Join the REMEDi4ALL Repurposing Bootcamp and lead the way in innovative treatment strategies.\nThe REMEDi4ALL Repurposing Bootcamp is a specialised training programme designed to empower patient representatives with the essential knowledge and tools to drive innovation through drug repurposing. Our mission is to equip you with the skills and expertise needed to lead efforts in identifying and promoting new therapeutic uses for existing drugs\, ultimately improving access to effective treatments and transforming patient care.  \nOur training programme will offer a comprehensive learning experience through a blend of in-person lectures\, workshops and discussions supported by virtual training materials that will be available soon in our digital academy. Our live programme will cover key aspects of drug repurposing\, including regulatory pathways\, clinical trials\, and patient engagement strategies all curated to ensure maximum relevance to patient group leaders.  \nLearn more here.
