About the resource
REMEDi4ALL wants to facilitate the funding of drug repurposing research. Joint calls are a mechanism whereby two or more funders collaborate on creating funding calls that extend the scope of their work. Such joint calls may enable cross-border projects that are not feasible for each of the individual funders. Calls may also increase the amount of funding available for projects by consolidating funding from each funder. A key benefit is that joint calls can draw on the interests and experiences of each funder so that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. This collaborative outcome is a key reason for REMEDi4ALL encouraging the creation of joint calls. Therefore, we have created this guide to make the funding process as easy as possible. This guide is a living document which will be updated as new materials become available.
