About the REMEDi4ALL Foundation
The REMEDi4ALL Foundation is dedicated to contributing to the well-being of patients by supporting the successful translation of promising research and clinical insights into new and repurposed medicines to address critical unmet medical needs.
Mission and Vision
The mission of the REMEDi4ALL Foundation is to contribute to the well-being of patients by creating and mediating partnerships among key stakeholders to design and execute more effective drug discovery and development strategies to address widespread patient unmet medical needs.
The vision of the REMEDi4ALL Foundation is to be a nexus where all key stakeholders can work collaboratively to advance drug discovery and development for the thousands of diseases that remain without approved and effective medicines.
Objectives and related documentation
1.1. The Foundation objectives are:
a. supporting and promoting the successful translation of promising research and clinical insights into new and repurposed medicines/ treatments; and
b. supporting and contributing to the well-being of patients,
and everything connected with or conducive to the foregoing, all in the broadest sense of the word.
1.2. The Foundation seeks to accomplish these objectives by, for example:
a. supporting, advising and collaborating with scientists, researchers, clinicians, industry members and patients to pursue innovative methods of study, research and treatment, in order to increase scientific knowledge to find ways to develop novel therapeutic interventions or repurpose existing medicines;
b. identifying promising therapeutic candidates and building expert project teams to lead the research;
c. promoting research methods and treatments;
d. advising and collaborating with other drug repurposing initiatives, non-profit or government agencies;
e. publishing reports and results of research and conducted research;
f. participating in international consortia for applying for research funding;
g. stimulating interest in the aim of the Foundation through discussions, lectures and other means, both written and printed and oral, and contribute financially to and organise courses and (hosting) conferences.

| Remuneration Policy | All Board positions are voluntary. There is no salary or other form of compensation for serving on the Boards of Stichting REMEDi4ALL Foundation. Members of the Management and Supervisory Board are only reimbursed for reasonable out-of-pocket expenses incurred while performing their duties, non-excessive attendance fees, and in case Board members undertake operational or executive responsibilities in addition to their governance role (under certain conditions). Stichting REMEDi4ALL Foundation employees are paid fairly, in a way that ensures the attraction and retention of the right skills in delivering the Stichting’s charitable objectives, and based on the requirements as per norms in the Netherlands. |
