Sahar Barjesteh van Waalwijk van Doorn-Khosrovani is Associate Professor of Medical Oncology, with a special focus on Accessibility of Medicines at Leiden University Medical Centre. As a BIG-registered pharmacist in Medicine & Society, she works for CZ Health Insurance in the Netherlands. Sahar is a member of the National Payer’s Evaluation Committee for Specialised Medicines and Companion Diagnostics (CieBAG), the National Horizon Scanning Group for Oncology and Haematology, the KWF’s Committee for Long-term Biomarkers Programme. She also collaborates with the VK Prasad Laboratory (University of California, San Francisco), and she represents the International Association of Non-for-Profit Healthcare Payers (AIM) in the EU HTA Stakeholder Network.
