Diana Delnoij (1965) is a political scientist who has worked as a health services researcher for more than 35 years. She has published on various research topics, such as payment and insurance systems, health systems, general practice, the role of patient organisations, and quality of care from the patient´s perspective. Apart from that, she holds a special interest in public health. She was a member of the board of the European Public Health Association for several years and is currently still active as an editor of the European Journal of Public Health. Currently, she is the Chief Scientific Officer of the National Health Care Institute (Zorginstituut Nederland), the Dutch health technology assessment agency, and she has an endowed chair as professor of Governance on Healthcare Quality and Efficiency at the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management.
