The REMEDi4ALL Digital Academy, a wealth of online, on-demand training in drug repurposing, will be launched officially in January 2025. The academy is designed by a team of experts with drug repurposing knowledge and patient-centred organisations, to ensure the accuracy and accessibility of content that guides you through the drug repurposing journey. To mark the launch of the academy, REMEDi4ALL will host a webinar on Wednesday, 29th Jan 2025, 12:30-13:30 CET.
Join us to find out more about the Digital Academy with speakers from REMEDi4ALL partners Beacon for Rare Disease and EURORDIS. We will explore key features of the Digital Academy including:
- Accessibility of training via our innovative “route to repurposing” map which reveals relevant timings of distinct stages involved in bringing a treatment to market.
- Educational Content: the academy covers every stage of drug repurposing, from identifying candidates to regulatory approval and market access. Whether you are interested in the pathway as a whole or looking for information on one stage of the process, the structure of the Digital Academy allows anyone to learn something about the drug repurposing process.
- Expert Contributions: insights from leading researchers, regulators, and patient advocates.
- Accessible language and signposting: written with the aim of welcoming a wide variety of users, whatever their background, the digital academy also signposts other valuable resources to support learners.
The Digital Academy will provide a wealth of content from its launch including modules on clinical trial design, regulatory strategy, and business models for repurposing. Moreover, the academy will provide specialised content for familiar challenges in drug repurposing projects including engaging patients in drug development, project management and securing market access for repurposed drugs.
