The #iDR24 conference hosted a dynamic Poster Session, providing a vibrant platform to showcase cutting-edge research and innovations in the realm of drug repurposing. Submissions poured in across four distinct categories, highlighting diverse perspectives and groundbreaking discoveries:
1️. Patient voice in repurposing research
2️. Cross-border collaborations in repurposing
3️. Challenges and opportunities in drug repurposing
4️. Innovative methods to identify repurposing opportunities
After careful deliberation, judges engaged with authors and assessed the 14 shortlisted posters out of a total of 28 submissions. We are delighted to announce that Umberto Villani from University College London (UCL) emerged victorious with his poster titled ‘Dose rationale for Tebipenem in pediatric typhoid fever‘. Villani’s insightful research earned him the opportunity to deliver a lightning talk during the plenary session on the conference’s final day.
You can watch Villani’s presentation here and explore the 22 shortlisted posters through this link.
Congratulations to all participants for their contributions to advancing drug repurposing research and innovation.
