Inclusion criteria

A type of eligibility criteria (see term Eligibility criteria). Inclusion criteria are the specific characteristics or conditions that a person must meet to participate in a clinical trial. These criteria are designed to ensure that the study includes the right participants to answer the research question, such as age, medical condition, or treatment history. They help keep the trial focused and ensure the safety and relevance of the results (see also Exclusion Criteria).
