REMEDi4ALL has established a funders network, led by ZonMw and in collaboration with the Anticancer Fund, dedicated to advancing Drug Repurposing initiatives.
The purpose of the REMEDi4ALL Funders Network is to enhance high impact drug repurposing research. It comprises diverse funding entities – both public and private – from across the globe that are dedicated to advancing drug repurposing initiatives.
Our objectives are to:
- facilitate collaboration among all types of funding entities and promote collaboration with research institutions and other stakeholders;
- reduce fragmentation of the drug repurposing funding landscape by supporting the alignment of research agendas, facilitating coordination of funding activities, and supporting joint calls;
- create innovative funding streams and explore viable business models;
- share best practices and learnings among funders;
- connect funders with investigators and projects that run through the REMEDi4ALL platform, including opportunities for joint funding;
- support high-impact & patient-centric project;
- enhance research quality;
- find solutions for funding barriers;
- advocate for policy changes at national and international levels, including changes in regulatory approval pathways, reimbursement and HTA processes.
Become a member
All funding entities both public and private can become members. In case you are not a funder you can become an observer. There is currently no legal or financial commitment required to become a member or observer. Find more information about the background, objectives, membership, principles, and governance of the REMEDi4ALL Funders Network in our charter. To become a member or observer please complete the application form and send it with a logo of your organisation to REMEDi4ALL@zonmw.nl.
