A pharmaceutical researcher by training with a career in computational driven drug discovery, holding leadership positions at Dompé farmaceutici SpA. Vice President EXSCALATE Drug Discovery Platform since 2020. co-founder of the Avicenna Alliance interest group in Brussels and a member of the PRACE cauncil (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe). He is actively involved with the Commission and the European Parliament in promoting the use of simulation in the health sector. Coordinator of two projects funded by the European Commission, EXSCALATE4COV and LIGATE. He authored more than 70 publications and co-invented more than 15 patents.
