Jeanie Kim is a Program Manager at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, a philanthropic foundation that pairs technology with grantmaking, impact investing, and capacity building to accelerate progress in science. She is part of the Rare As One team, which supports a network of over 90 patient groups driving research in their diseases. She leads funding strategies centering rare diseases and large-scale multimodal data, and her work aims to amplify patient-led research and address shared challenges in access, diagnosis, disease phenotyping and therapeutic development. With a background in law and public health, Jeanie previously held positions as a Project Head at the Open Society Foundations and a Research Fellow at Yale Law School.
