Nick Juty is a Project Portfolio Manager in the eScience Lab, based in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Manchester. He is involved in numerous EU-level projects relating to aspects of FAIR and interoperability, particularly with respect to digital objects, metadata, standards and best practice. Nick also participated in the ‘FAIRplus’ project, which included pharmaceutical companies, to develop ‘FAIR’ guidance, methods and frameworks. Nick previously worked at EMBL-EBI, and holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Southampton, UK.
