Rosie Lovett is the head of the national multi-agency Medicines Repurposing Programme at NHS England. The programme identifies and progresses opportunities to use existing medicines in new ways. Rosie previously worked in the Science Policy and Research and Technology Appraisals teams at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), building skills in the methods and practice of health economics and health technology evaluation. Rosie completed a PhD in Psychology at the University of York and post-doctoral research at University College London. Her early career research informed national guidelines on the provision of cochlear implants for children with hearing impairment.
