Sibren van den Berg is the coordinator of Medicijn voor de Maatschappij (Medicine for Society), an academic platform at Amsterdam UMC. The topic of his PhD is the availability of drugs for rare diseases and his published work thus far mostly focused on drug repurposing. He studied how drug repurposing for rare diseases takes place and cost-based pricing methods to price such drugs.
