Conference Poster Session: Call for Abstracts
We are pleased to announce our popular poster session is returning for iDR26! Whether you’re a patient group representative, researcher or industry professional, we’d like to encourage you to apply to showcase your work, stories, and experiences to an international audience of professionals and thought leaders in the drug repurposing field.
During the poster session, we’ll also be hosting a poster competition for those who wish to take part. Posters will be assessed on the day by experts in the drug repurposing field, based on clarity of science, presentation delivery, relevance, visual appeal, originality, and quality of research. Of course, the winner will also receive a prize!

The application form
As a reminder, our conference will bring together a varied audience, including patients, patient groups, and policy makers. To ensure your work is accessible to everyone, in the form we ask for:
- A max. 300-word accessible poster abstract
- A max. 300-word lay summary
The deadline to complete your application is January 10th 2026. We encourage applicants to submit their abstracts early, as we might close the form early should we receive a high volume of applications. We will contact successful applicants by late March 2026.

Lightening Talks
At #iDR26, we foster the power of collaboration, bringing in diverse perspectives. Alongside our tailored programme, attendees will have the chance to take part in lightning talks – quick, engaging presentations from patient groups, academia, industry, and healthcare providers, each sharing their ideas, progress, and achievements in drug repurposing. Significantly, the talks are delivered by delegates themselves, reflecting their perspectives and initiatives.
How to apply for a Lightning Talk?
During early registration, attendees can submit a proposal for a lightning talk, and after reviewing all submissions, we’ll invite a selection of speakers to present their stories on stage at iDR26.
What do candidates need to prepare?
To take part, simply prepare a title and short summary of your talk when completing your conference registration.
