PATIENT BURSARIES

Patient voices are essential to successful drug repurposing

At iDR27, patient groups and representatives will have the opportunity to share their experiences, connect with researchers, industry partners, funders and policymakers, and help shape the future drug repurposing landscape.

To support participation, a limited number of bursaries are available for patients and patient groups facing financial barriers. Bursaries can help cover travel and accommodation costs (up to €200) and one conference ticket (up to €120).

Whether you are attending sessions, networking with potential collaborators, or presenting a poster, iDR offers valuable opportunities to build connections and create new collaborations.

At iDR, a single conversation could lead to new partnerships, research opportunities or collaborations that make a real difference for your patient group.

At iDR26, Scott Hutchings, founder of CHAMP1, spoke to Dr Felix Chan, one of our panellists, and discovered that Dr Chan could help with a knowledge gap of the condition. They are now in the process of starting a project together looking at whether CHAMP1 cells handle energy differently.

If you are interested in joining us at #iDR27, we are committed to ensuring that patients and patient groups facing financial barriers have the opportunity to participate. Apply for a bursary here.
